Running events from other organizers recommended by Thomas Steinicke (Managing Director of Conibeta GmbH) based on his own experience:

Thomas: “In my opinion, this stage run is an absolute must! The TransEspaña is one of the most beautiful and best organized stage races in Europe. The chosen time of year is ideal, the temperatures prevailing at that time make it easy to walk and the beauty of nature is breathtaking.  The average daily stage length is an easily manageable 60 km. The organizer Gilles speaks English, French and Spanish and is always available to answer any questions. His team is well-rehearsed and super friendly. A accompanying cook surprises you every day in the finish area with tasty salads. Dinner in the restaurants is well organized, but sometimes takes a bit of getting used to for vegetarians. I have already registered for 2025 and this will be my third participation there. I would be happy to answer any questions you may have about my experiences there at any time. Of course, this also applies during the event.”

Thomas: “As a Berlin Wall child, I have been supporting this event since the second edition in a variety of ways, including with my ninth participation so far. The memory of the division of this city and the many deaths at the Wall is revived every year with this run. I find this to be extremely important and right. The organization in this segment is unbeatable. The running route itself, the catering with its individual teams, the hustle and bustle of so many runners on the Wall Trail is unparalleled. Whether as an individual starter, as a relay runner, as a bicycle companion or as a volunteer, the atmosphere before, during and after the race is unbeatable. For me, this event is also a MUST for all running enthusiasts.”
